MUA Product Review

MUA Nail Varnish- Pistachio Ice Cream

I have been reading a lot about the MUA cosmetics collection, however in coventry it is so hard to find a superdrug that isn't out of stock of it all. I went to a little town called Kenilworth yesterday, where they had almost everything stocked up so I ended up buying loads of MUA products, I just can't believe how cheap they are (I will be reviewing the other products once I have had chance to trial them properly). They have recently launched a new range, including this lovely gem and for only £1 I couldn't help but purchase it.

First impressions, by looking at this varnish I would not think that it were only £1. It actually reminds me of the essie varnishes, but on a smaller scale. I did have to apply 3 coats of this nail varnish to achieve a shade that I was happy with, but that's not a massive deal for me. I have had the varnish on for 24 hours now and it has only chipped a tiny bit at the edge, this is pretty good going for me though. Due to my job and day to day doings my nail varnish tends to chip like crazy!

Overall I would say that I am really happy with this product, the colour and quality for the price is amazing. I will definitely be buying more of these beauties!

Have you tried any of the new MUA range?

Yet another topshop bargain!

Leather Jacket- T.K Max
Dress- Topshop
Shoes- Converse

This is yet another one of my bargain buys from topshop it was down from £40 to £20, I just couldn't say no! I really like it, it kind of reminds me of a denim tea towel :). I love this fit of this dress, on the hanger it looks like it'd be really unflattering but once on I think that it is quite the opposite. It's really cute and simple to wear, I also have the same dress but plain denim. I am a little addicted to this fit dress!

Whilst the weather is nice I will be filling my blog with more and more outfit posts, sunny clothes and pictures are my fave!

Have you been finding some decent bargains recently?

I've got a pocket, got a pocket full of sunishine...

Leather Jacket- T.K Max
Sun glasses- Gladrags
Handbag- Topshop
Earrings- Topshop
Necklace- Newlook
Belt- Zara
Dress- Topshop
Shoes- Vans

The weather has been beautiful! It probably won't last long so I thought that I would make the most out of it whilst I can. I really love this dress, it is currently in the sale as well (I hate it when you pay full price and it's in the sale a few weeks later) it is so pretty and perfect for day or night. As I was only going to town and the pub I thought that I would dress it down by pairing it with my leather jacket and vans. It was so nice to be able to finally wear this dress, I have had it for a while and the poor thing has just been sat in my wardrobe waiting for the right weather. It is going to get so much wear over the summer and I will be keeping it for many summers to come! I treated myself to the earrings and handbag this week, they were in the topshop sale for half of their original price! I just couldn't say no to £3.50 earrings and a £20 handbag! I love a good bargain. I'm also wearing my new morange MAC lipstick, which I have reviewed in my previous post. It has got a firm place in my handbag for the upcoming sunny days.

What are your staple pieces for this spring and summer?

MAC Morange Review

MAC Lipstick- Morange

Ok, so this is my first ever MAC lipstick. I was out and about in Leicester the other day and I 'accidentally' came across a mac counter and this just fell in to my hand. Admitedly I did buy a few products that day, all of which whill be popping up on my blog soon. I love this colour, it's such a pretty and vibrant coral shade. It has a hint of red in there too which I think stops it from being too bright. If that makes any sense? Anyway, it's a lovely sharp colour that can brighten up any dull, english spring or summer.
As I was a MAC lipstick virgin I was a bit scared that I would be paying £14 for a brand name rather than a good quality lippy. I was nicely surprised :). A lot of matte finish lippy's tend to be drying and hard to apply, i didn't have this issue at all. In fact it continued to be creamy and moisturising long after I had applied it. Also the full colour stayed on for quite a while, and even once it had began to fade it still left a nice hint of a coral stain.
I must admit that I am really impressed with this product, it is well worth £14 and I will happily be buying more MAC lipsticks in the future.

Have you tried any MAC lipsticks? If so, what are your favourite shades?

OOTD: A little birdy told me...

Top- Topshop
Skirt- NewLook
Cardigan- Topshop (Mum's wardrobe)
Shoes- Converse
Necklace- NewLook
Watch- Casio
Bracelet- Topshop

I haven't done an outfit post for what seems like foreer! So this is just my chilling day outfit, it's my day off after a long weekend so it's nothing too fancy. The weather was rather indecisive today so I was prepared for a bit of chill with my mum's lovely, cosey cardigan.
I love this top! I came across it in Topshop when I went to visit Leicester the other day and it made me giggle. I really like the vintage style of the birds on their and I think that they take the top from being a little rude, to just a bit cheeky! I don't know if you can see very well in the picture (poor quality as I have lost my camera charger and had to use a phone) but it has a tree on with all different kind of birds with their names next to them i.e blue tit, bearded tit etc. Then at the top it says 'Great British Tits'. Cheeky!

I am going to start posting outfit posts more often!

Most Glamarous Nudes EVER!!

From left to right 'call my buff', 'it's complicated', 'guilty pleasure', 'kiss me, im tipsy', 'my two cents' (cream shadow), 'birthday suit' (cream shadow).

I know that I have only reviewed benefit products so far, however promise that I will be reviewing beauty and skincare products that actually aren't benefit within the next week (partially because I may have had a little MAC haul, oops!)

So here is my little post about my experience and opinion on one of Benefit's newest eyeshadow palettes. This is the 'most glamarous nudes ever' palette out the the 'world famous neautrals' range.

This is definitely my favourite shadow kit that I have tried. At £23.50 it kind of reminds me of a cheaper, benefit version of urban decays naked palettes (with less shadows). It is really easy to use and it fits snuggly in to my day to day routine. The kit comes with little instructions on how to create a day time look, and then more of an evening look, both of which are really nice to follow whilst you get to grips with the product. Once comfortable it's nice to have a play around and just go a little crazy! Well as crazy as you can get with nudes I guess. It's really nice to shove in your bag for travelling too as it is compact and contains a mirror. The only thing that would really improve this product is miniature brushes within the set.

The quality of the shadows are lovely, they're really long lasting and concentrated so a little lasts a long time! I actually did mine in the picture at 8am, and that's how it looks at 9pm! admitedly I am using the benefit Stay don't stray eye primer though. It's still pretty good going!

As you can see I am really happy with this product, minus no brushes I honestly can't fault this one bit. I love it!

So that's my little review on the Benefit most glamarous nudes ever palette. Have you tried any of the palettes within this Benefit range? If so, how did you find it?

Graze Box + A Little Code For You!

I know that this isn't fashion or beauty but I also know that us bloggers are always on the go, at events, out shopping or having a pamper so I thought that this would be a really good idea for you guys! You can't shop on an empty stomach!!

Here's some pictures of my very first (FREE) graze box and one that followed. I was originally going to only have my free box but I loved it that much that I now have one sent every single week for only £3.89. My whole family now get one each delivered every week too! It's a crazy graze house!

You get a really nice balance of snacks, majority of which are really low calorie, with the ocassional treat. You can choose between a 'snack box' or a 'health box', the difference being that the 'snack box' will contain a treat each week i.e a flapjack, whereas a health box is all nut, seed and fruit based without the treat. I opted for the snack box, surprise surprise! Everybody needs a little treat now and then!

With each box that you get delivered you get a little booklet inside that tells you about the nutritional value of each punnet, use by dates and about any other new snacks that will be coming out soon. There's 100 different snacks for you to choose from and if there's something that you know that you won't like then you can choose to 'bin it', making sure that they won't ever get sent it. Similarly you can choose to ask them to 'send soon' and hopefully it will be in your next box!

Luckily for you, you can get your completely free graze box by going HERE

Have you recieved your graze box? If so, what do you think?

Get in my makeup bag!

So, once again I am appologising for not posting for a while. I have been so busy with work and have had hardly any time to be getting myself looking all pretty for posts. Also I haven't had time to shop either! (I bet that my bank is relieved). I have got some really lovely posts lined up for the next week though.
So here are a few products that I have been lusting over for quite a while now, I think that I will be caving in soon and making a few cheeky purchases.

I am so sad that work still haven't given me my fake up, I have been putting it on every day at work though and it is super lovely and highdrating! It has more purposes than for just under eye, I will be doing a full demo and review when I get mine :). £18.50

I have been wanting the naked palette for so long now, I really like having a play around with nudes as I think that they're so versatile and this is the perfect product to do that with. £36

The MAC pink swoon blush is the perfect shade to brighten up your complexion for a fresh spring/summer look, I can't wait to make it mine. MAC blushes are all great quality too so you only need a little, making it last for forever! £17.50

Last, but most definitely not least! This amazingly beautiful Chanel rouge allure #54 lipstick!!!I honestly cannot express how gorgeous this lipstick is. I haven't ever owned or tried anything chanel before, however over the past week I have been generously applying this godsend at work. It is so creamy, long lasting and pretty. It's the perfect colour for spring/summer as well. At £25 I personally find that pricey for a lipstick but I think that this might just have to be my treat on payday.

Have you tried any of these products? If so, what do you think to them?
