Topshop: I want, I need!

Ok, so when I 'throw' on an outfit I don't really like to just stick to one fashion style because if i do then I will look like every other lady walking down the street (who wants that?). So I like to pick and choose and mix and match. I am on a bit of a shopping ban at the moment (lets see how long this lasts) so rather than wandering in to topshop and buying myself this beautiful outfit I can simply only share it with you guys like this and dream. I have pieced together a bit of grunge, a bit of grandma (vintage style) and a splash of neon too. Let me talk you through it all...

  1. This is a beautiful leather jacket from Topshop- £60, that can be put with pretty much everything and can be worn for any occassion. Also leather jackets never really go out of fashion, they're a classic! You'll get loads of wear out of it.
  2. I simply decided to add in this Topshop neon necklace- £14 to add a little bit of colour to this outfit, everybody loves a good statement necklace!
  3. Ok, I seriously NEED this but my bank starts to cry a little whenever I pick it up. It is going to be mine before the weather starts to get better (that gives me all of the time in the world then i guess). This denim topshop pini - £36 is gorgeous and surprisingly very flattering.
  4. This tan coloured vintage leather bag from Topshop -£65 is really cute and a great size too, however, when I think about it sensibly i do feel like i could get a bag similar and equally as nice from an actualy vintage shop for less money.
  5. I have been eying up these badboys for months now! I haven't even let myself try them on because I know that as soon as I put them on my feet I won't ever take them off. It has been an inner battle for so, so long! They're £75 from Topshop, which is just out of my budget right now as I am saving up for a car. Although who needs a car when I could look so beautiful walking around in these? My love for them is so great because you could put them on with the plainest outfit and they'd automatically make it so much cooler! Ok, rant over!
  6. I simply picked this cropped, polo neck, long sleeve crop top because I am loving the cropped tee's but not loving the thought of having everything out whilst it is still snowing outside. Also for only £12 from Topshop it is a bit of a bargain! (It won't let me put a link through to the exact page)
  7. This bracelet is super cute, I love little vintage style cuffs like this one. They're just so pretty and it is only £8.50 from Topshop
So that's one topshop outfit (of many) that I would love to own right now. I really enjoyed putting this together and posting it today, if I get a good response then I think that I will be doing it more often. Sorry for the not so great quality pictures, I haven't ever done one of these before. Practice makes perfect! Also I didn't mean to ramble on so much!

Have you had your eye on any of these, or similar items? If so, how long before you give in and buy them?

Product Review: Benefit Fine One One

The Benefit fine one one product- £23.50

A little 'how to' guide that comes with the product.

One stroke from the apple of the cheek to the hairline.

And blend

So I guess that I have almost been putting this review off because I really, really can't make my mind up about it. This is one of benefits new products, fine one one the 3 tone cream to powder blush and lip colour. I really love the idea of having 2 lovely, bright colours and a highlighter all in one sweep, it is so easy to use! Also they're beautiful colours for spring!
However there's something that I just don't like about it and I think that today I managed to pin point what it is. As I have oilly skin and scars from acne I love full coverage and a matte finish, however, by using this product I feel like it takes off the layer of powder foundation on my cheeks (revealing my scars a little) and giving me a bit of a dewy finish.
My skin has been getting a lot better recently though and because of this I have found myself wearing it a lot more rather than just letting it sit in my draw. After having a bit of a moan about it I have decided that although it is a bit dewy for me and gives me a little less coverage, I think that as it is (meant to be) coming up to spring and I have started to get my lovely coral and peachy tones out, this will be finding a comfy little place in my makeup bag. I think that I will start to enjoy having a more subtle, natural and dewy look when it comes to my makeup in the forthcoming freezing sunny seasons.

Have you tried this product? If so what did you think of it?

Nothing beats a good vintage shop!

Addidas jacket- Originals for only £15!

I'm sure that you guys love second hand vintage shops as much as myself so I thought that id share this little gem of a shop with you all! It was only a few months ago that I actually discovered this place, I have always driven past it but never bothered to go in, I was missing out! For anybody in the Coventry area I would definitely recommend going here, even if it is just for a mooch (we all know that a mooch ends up in a spend 99% of the time though)
I would personally say that there is a wider range of menswear than womenswear but hey ho mix it all around! I always wear mens clothes. I brought myself a bargain pair of high waisted Levi jeans from here a while back for only a tenner!! They're so lovely (also a little tight after christmas though). I shouldn't still be using that excuse in March, oh well!

My friend Liam (in the final picture) brought this lovely jacket in store that day, however I am afraid that I don't know where any of the rest of his outfit is from but if you do have any questions about it then don't be afraid to contact me, I will do my best to find out.

Do you know of any amazing, hidden shops like this one in your area?

I can see the sea!!

So as I mentioned in my last post (which was forever ago) my lovely girlfriend and I went for a nice little break to Brighton. It is my favourite place in the UK so we try to go twice a year when we can both get a bit of time off of work. It has everything that I could ever wish for (apart from warm weather). My plan was to have a lovely break and get loads of outfit posts done whilst I was there. I did have some really lovely outfits on...underneath my big parka! I am sorry but it was far too cold to be taking off any of my layers so you just have some holiday snapshots to be looking at instead!
The atmosphere and shops in Brighton are amazing and my pictures don't do it justice. If you love second hand vintage shops and one off boutiques then I definitely recommend paying Brighton a visit. I will be showing you all the goodies that I bought whilst I was there in a later post, I looooveeee shopping!!!! As well as second hand shops they also have a really nice set of designer shops too if that's more for you, enough to please everybody!
The first 6 pictures are of the north laines, I wish that I had the time and thought to have taken more pictures of the beautiful laines to be honest, but I was too busy shopping! The 7th picture is of my lovely George the giraffe and my moomin pajamas(Topshop) on my hotel bed, I am a bit of a child when it comes to these because I adore them and don't go away without them. I am a big kid secretly! The beautiful 8th picture is of mine and my girlfriends promise rings (mine left, Emma's right). She was such a sweetheart and gave mine to me on Brighton beach as the sun was setting, romantic hey? Then the rest of the pictures are all of the seafront and Brighton pier, I just love it. I haven't ever been right to the bottom of the pier though, it scares me so much! Maybe one day I will.
So that's my not so brief post about my lovely little UK break to Brighton, I just wish that I never had to leave!

Have you ever been to, or lived in Brighton? If so what did you think?
